'Temptation Island' is getting a Danish version on Viaplay as the 28th adaptation of the Banijay Entertainment reality format. Separated into two villas, couples interact with a group of singles to determine whether their love is strong enough to withstand the temptations and challenges.

Another Banijay format, 'Let's Play Ball', will be adapted for the Canadian streaming platform Crave. The physical comedy game show sees two rival teams race to transport a massive ball across various terrains. Crave and CTV will also become the new home of 'Big Brother Canada' starting in 2027.

Can't Stop Media will represent the British feel-good reality format 'Pilgrimage'. Celebrities of different beliefs embark on a raw, spiritual, and transformative trek.

Joyn Germany has announced the new "honest" summer dating reality show 'Eden - Du bezahlst für jede Lüge', developed by Redseven Entertainment. Singletons are sent to paradise to find their perfect match but must regularly face a lie detector test and pay for every lie.

The U.S. cross-platform Nielsen ratings for the 2025/26 season are out. In the drama-dominated top 25 list, there are only two unscripted shows: 'Dancing with the Stars' and 'Survivor 50'.

Fox in the U.S. will re-edit a previous season of 'Farmer Wants a Wife' and release it on an app in a vertical format consisting of 101 short episodes.

The Wit data show that the development of new unscripted formats is declining sharply, while format adaptations are also in decline.

The new talent show '¿Quién es mejor?' premieres this week in Mexico on Las Estrellas and ViX. Contestants with original talents aim to convince a panel of experts and the audience that they are the best.
