Banijay Entertainment adds Yoshimoto Kogyo's 'You Laugh You Lose' to its portfolio in 23 territories. In this comedic challenge show from the creators of 'LOL: Last One Laughing', players navigate an escalating comedy universe over 24 hours and must follow one single rule: they cannot laugh.

Another Japanese format, 'Special Delivery' from TBS, is now distributed by Fremantle. In this light competition format, comedians are sent on hilarious missions to attempt to deliver anything, anywhere, anyhow.

Psychological reality competition 'The Traitors' from All3Media International reaches 40 territories with the latest commissioning in Indonesia. Recent deals include Slovakia, Estonia, and Malta. The franchise also expands into a board game, mobile game, live experience, and stage play.

A bunch of new shows were announced in the last seven days around London TV Screenings and MIP London:

  • 'Survive Your Family' (Talpa Studios). The Dutch survival reality format tests physical endurance, strategy, and emotional bonds, as families split into two teams with radically different roles, each side dependent on the other.
  • 'The Bicycle Race' (Banijay Entertainment). Celebrities team up with a partner to compete in a bike adventure. They must make smart tactical decisions to navigate unfamiliar Indian terrain.
  • 'Last One Standing' (Banijay Entertainment). A competition following a group of celebrities living together 24/7 in a stripped-back camp, battling for peak fitness performance.
  • 'Do You Know Your Place?' (Sony). A celebrity quiz format testing guests' knowledge of the country.
  • 'See You in Court' (Warner Bros.) helps resolve legal disputes.
  • 'Class Clowns' (Warner Bros.) sees comedians return to the classroom for lessons that test competitive spirit, quick thinking, teamwork, creativity, and nerve.

ITV Studios now represents the music entertainment format 'Your Song', where amateur singers step onto a travelling stage and share a song that is personal to them.

Rabbit Films adds 'For the Love of Music' to the catalogue. In this Dutch format, A-list artists perform covers of iconic songs that have personally shaped them.

RTL4 Netherlands, RTL Germany and Canadian prodcos order 'Hitster' (Fremantle), based on a music party game in which songs are put into chronological order. Latest deals also include the celebrity game show 'Parents' Evening' (ITV Studios), ordered by Atresmedia in Spain; the high-stakes celebrity reality chase 'Catch Us If You Can' (Talpa Studios) in Hungary; the social experiment 'Virgin Island' (Passion Distribution) in the Netherlands; the game show 'Boom!' (Keshet International) in Brazil; and Blue Ant Studios and Nippon TV partnering on the social strategy experiment format 'Majority Rules'.

ABC premiered the new game show 'The Greatest Average American', where contestants try to guess how everyday Americans think and live. Coming soon: the new HGTV competition 'Bachelor Mansion Takeover'; the Finnish version of 'Hollywood Game Night' (NBCUniversal); the French adaptation of 'Down the Road' (Primitives); and the Polish version of 'Stranded on Honeymoon Island' (Seven.One Studios).
