Wanted - A Very Personal Assistant

This format challenges the public's preconceptions of disability and care, highlighting the lack of young people entering the care profession. After several ambitious, outgoing and fun-loving disabled twentysomethings find young, likeminded caregivers with similar interests to share their lives and manage their daily needs, the pairs embark on a two-week work trial - and the journey of a lifetime. For some of the caregivers, the experience opens their eyes to a rewarding and fulfilling career that they may never have considered before, and it gives them a new perspective on what it means to be young and disabled today.
