German broadcaster RTL launches new season of 'Deutschland sucht den Superstar' on Saturday, January 2 (8:15-10:15 PM).

'Deutschland sucht den Superstar' is an adaptation of FremantleMedia's singing competition format 'Idols'.

Vanessa Mai, Michelle, H.P. Baxxter and Dieter Bohlen will judge and Oliver Geissen will host the show. RTL plans 21 episodes.
